Yes. The core purpose of this work is building real relationships and collaborative partnerships - which only works when we show up fully.
That said, we understand that life happens. The series of events build on each other and are created based on everyones attendance, so you should plan to participate in every session.
However, recordings and related materials will be available after each session and we’ll recap along the way to help keep everyone up to speed.

This transformative journey consists of both live sessions and self-directed learning modules.
The live sessions will take place on Tuesdays either online for 90-minutes or at the Quaker Meeting House from 10am-5pm.
In addition to these sessions, you should plan to spend 1-2 hours each month on the online curriculum and your peer mentoring.

There will be a maximum of 32 participants. If there are folks who aren’t able to participate because of this group size limit, there is a possibility that we will have two cohorts that run in the same year. Our commitment to a small group size supports conversation, and connection.

Yes, it totally makes sense for you to join even though you don't live in the Berkshires. The purpose is to cross-pollinate and build a mycelial network throughout the berkshires and surrounding bioregions throughout the Northeast. Our long-term vision is to establish cohorts throughout the Northeast. For now, we are arranging for accomodations for folks who are traveling from out of town, so please don’t let distance be a barrier to joining in. We welcome you, graciously!

First things first - if you really want to join this program, we will make a way for you to join. If you feel a YES! to joining the cohort journey, we will find a way to make it work!
And, while we do have partial funding to support this effort, we are requesting a financial contribution from participants to make this program financially viable and ensure it can grow into the future!

The dynamics and subtle workings around commitment are of vital importance in this work. There are really two issues that are distinct.
The first is unexpected major medical challenges or anything that is health or family related, that is completely out of one's control. Of course, with a situation like that, a prorated refund is totally appropriate and anything that I could do to make things easier and more supportive for the participant, I would do.
The second situation is more on the thinking / feeling level - "is this a good fit" or "I'm not getting enough out of this." With that situation, I feel much more inclined to follow what I've learned from my own direct experience with personal growth as well as supporting others on transformational journeys, which has to do with the psychology of commitment. I think Goethe says it best:
“Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back — concerning all acts of initiative (and creation), there is one elementary truth that ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans:
that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one’s favor all manner of unforeseen incidents and meetings and material assistance, which no wo/man could have dreamed would have come her/his way. Whatever you can do, or dream you can do, begin it. Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it. Begin it now.“
