Rights of Nature is an international movement.

Around the world, Towns, Cities, States and countries have adopted rights of nature legislation into their constitution, including:

• Ecuador re-wrote it’s national constitution to include rights for nature

• Over 36 municipalities in the United States, i.e.

  • Pittsburg, PA

  • Orange County, Florida

Alliance for a Viable Future is providing organizational support, coalition-building, and education
to support this local organizing effort in The Town of Great Barrington.
