A seasonal pathway for connection, reflection, and collective transformation

Alliance for a Viable Future is developing a year-long series of online programs designed to support changemakers in reconnecting with themselves, each other, and the living systems we are part of.

Rooted in the seasonal rhythms of the Northeast, this series offers a structured yet flexible pathway through the year—inviting participants into cycles of learning, reflection, rest, and renewal. Together, these programs cultivate the inner and relational foundations needed for meaningful, collaborative change.

Seasonal Series

🍂 Weaving a Partnership Culture (September–October 2026)

An introductory series exploring AVF’s core vision and theory of change.

Participants engage in dialogue and reflection on:

  • Building trust through circles and relationships

  • Partnership as a foundation for cultural and systems change

  • Leadership rooted in collaboration, reciprocity, and shared purpose

This series offers an accessible entry point into AVF’s broader community and prepares participants for deeper engagement.

🌑 Embracing the Darkness (November–Winter Solstice 2026)

A guided journey through the late fall and early winter season.

As the natural world turns inward, this series creates space to:

  • Slow down and reflect

  • Honor emotional and energetic cycles

  • Engage practices of rest, integration, and self-care

The series culminates in a Winter Solstice gathering, marking a transition point between darkness and the return of light.

🌅 Horizon Point (Winter Solstice–NEW YEARS - Spring Equinox 2026-2027)

A self-paced audio journey of deep listening, renewal, and visioning.

Inspired by the Deep Roots Fellowship, Horizon Point supports participants to:

  • Reconnect with purpose and inner guidance

  • Restore energy after the winter season

  • Clarify vision for the year ahead

Through reflections, stories, and practices, participants are invited into a grounded, personal process of renewal. This experience stands on its own while also serving as preparation for deeper engagement in AVF programs.

Pathway into Deeper Engagement

These seasonal offerings are designed as entry points into a larger ecosystem of learning and community.

Participants who feel called to go deeper are invited into the Deep Roots Fellowship, a year-long cohort beginning in the spring, where relationships, leadership, and collaborative initiatives are cultivated over time.

Additional short-form programs is being planned for the spring and summer to support continued engagement and accessibility.

Our Intention

This series is grounded in a simple but powerful idea:

Meaningful social and ecological change begins with how we relate—to ourselves, to each other, and to the world around us.

By creating consistent, accessible spaces for connection and reflection throughout the year, we are helping to cultivate the trust, clarity, and shared purpose needed for a more just and regenerative future.
